Your Events - 2024
Northampton Town Council proudly delivers and supports a full, vibrant and varied calendar of events throughout the year. We are privileged to be responsible for fantastic community events and Civic customs that have long been an established date in the diary, as well as introducing exciting new events to the schedule.
From Diwali and Northampton Music Festival in the town centre to Northampton Carnival and our Annual Fireworks Display at the Racecourse, EID Festival at Beckets Park and our Bands in the Park on the Abington Park bandstand, these events are treasured by all and celebrate our town's diversity.
Our Civic events include Oak Apple Day, Armed Forces Day and Remembrance Sunday to name a few. We are also responsible for 'Christmas in Northampton', lighting up the town for all to enjoy over the festive season alongside a programme of activities.
Northampton is a talented, creative hub for music, art, culture and heritage, which is important to us. Working with associated partners and community groups, we aim to embrace this within each and every event we deliver.
