Queens Platinum Jubilee Parade

A pageant is being organised by WNC and partners, this will be the largest parade Northampton has ever done with a provisional number of 2,300 in the pageant to combine the military, civic, blue light services, schools, the seven faiths and community/voluntary organisations. This will be followed by a drumhead service in the Market Square.

The Starlight Sisters at Abington Park Bandstand

The Starlight Sisters will be performing songs from the wartime 40s, the rock n roll 50s and the swinging 60s in 3-part harmonies in the Abington Park Bandstand from 2-5pm on Saturday 4th June.
The sisters will be singing songs by artists such as the Andrews Sisters, Doris Day, the Ronettes, the Temptations, the Chiffons, the Crystals, the Monkees, Dusty Springfield, Vera Lynn, and many more.
Come and join them to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!
