Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service
This year Northampton Town Council will be leading Remembrance Day Commemorations on Sunday 14th November in the Town Centre with a Parade, Civic Procession and Services at All Saints Church and the Town Centre Memorial Garden. This year will mark the Centenary of the Royal British Legion.

The Much Anticipated Lantern Procession will Return to Northampton This Diwali
On Saturday the 30th October the much-anticipated lantern procession will begin at 6pm on the Market Square, with two pedal-powered puppets of Harminder the elephant and Shanti the giant bird leading the way. Cllr. Jacqueline Fuchshuber has been announced as the new Northampton Town Councillor for Talavera ward, following the election on Thursday 2nd September.
Jacqueline Fuchshuber of the Liberal Democrat Focus Team won with 444 votes, beating Marianne Kimani, of the Labour party with 437 votes and James Thorpe, an independent candidate with 96 votes.

Wall Games Project Funded By Northampton Town Council Grant Scheme Returns This Bank Holiday
The Wall Games project, founded by Art Curator, James Thompson, is the first project to take place that has been funded by the Northampton Town Council Community Grant scheme.
