With the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Ukraine, Northampton residents have responded with enormous generosity donating thousands of items. Many lorries have already made the perilous journey to Ukraine and the Polish border.

Northampton Town Council Freezes Amount Residents Will Pay in 2022/23

At its full Council meeting on Monday 24th January, Northampton Town Council agreed to freeze the amount of Council Tax residents will pay for its element of the bill.

The freeze means that the average property in Northampton parish will still pay £48.78 per annum (just under 94p per week) in 2022/23 to the Town Council, the same as in 2021/22.

It is with great sadness that we are sharing the news that Cllr Michael Hill, Mayor of Bradley Stoke, former Mayor of the Borough of Northampton 2009-2010 and Honorary Alderman, has passed away.
