Light Up the Sky with Northampton's Annual Fireworks Spectacular
Northampton Town Council invite you to our annual Fireworks Spectacular, returning to The Racecourse, Saturday 5th November.
Gates open at 2pm, before the live entertainment begins from 4:30pm. The stage, hosted by BBC Radio Northampton's Daisie Belle, will feature live music plus Fire & Pyro performances, culminating in a spectacular firework display at 6pm. Entry to the event is free.
Experienced and energetic local rock band, Similar Jones will get the event well and truly underway playing retro hits from the 60s to the present day before The Road to Valhalla - Viking Themed Fire Show takes to the battlefield, transporting you to the brutal and mysterious world of Vikings. This unique show uses highly skilled equipment, set choreography and a visually stunning finale!
Cllr Jane Birch says, "Following the success of last year, Northampton Town Council are thrilled to announce the return of this year's annual Firework Spectacular, welcoming local bands to the bill as well as the exciting Road to Valhalla fire show, adding an explosive display to the proceedings before the ultimate firework finale!"
In addition, there will be Fun Fair Rides for the whole family as well as a variety of food concessions.
Where possible, we ask that local residents walk or take public transport to the event. Limited parking is available in the nearby St Michaels Car Park and other West Northants Council car parks at the usual charge. Please be aware that the Pavilion Car Park, located on The Racecourse, is designated for Disabled Parking ONLY and will be closed to the general public.
Stay safe! Please leave your sparklers at home. Remember to wrap up warm and don't forget your cameras for an exciting photo opportunity you won't want to miss.
Further information will be posted to our social channels. People can also follow #WhatsOnNN for regular event updates and share pictures using the hashtag #LightUpTheSky.
