The Northampton Balloon Festival makes a welcome return to the Racecourse this August, after a 14-year absence from the park.
The popular festival will take place across three days from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th August, with over 50 hot air balloons on display, alongside a packed timetable of activities and entertainment for all the family.

Emergency bleed kit cabinet installed at Northampton Train Station
A life-saving emergency bleed kit cabinet is now installed at Northampton Train Station, as the result of a partnership project between community organisation Off the Streets NN, Northampton Town Council and Northamptonshire Police.

Northampton to mark 75th anniversary of Windrush with flag raising ceremony and exhibition
The Windrush flag will be raised outside the Guildhall at 11.55am Thursday, 22nd June, to mark the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush ship, which docked at Essex in 1948 with 492 passengers, hailing the beginning of a generation of migrants from Caribbean countries who came to Britain to help fill post-War labour shortages.
