Northampton Town Council asks West Northants Council to reconsider its parking charges
At a specially convened Council meeting, Northampton Town Council unanimously agreed to ask West Northants Council (WNC) to reconsider their proposal to introduce a charge for those wishing to park in the town on a Sunday.

Northampton Town Council has agreed to freeze the amount residents will pay in 2023/24 for the second year running.
Northampton Town Council (NTC) has agreed to freeze the amount residents will pay for the second year running in the next financial year beginning in April. The precept funds town council services and is collected as part of West Northamptonshire's wider council tax bill.

Strategy Visioning Day
On Saturday 14th January, Councillors and officers from Northampton Town Council took part in a Visioning Day to develop our strategy run by James Corrigan from Council HR and Governance Support.
It was a really engaging day with everyone benefitting positively from the session. We look forward to creating our strategy as a result.
